Taxonomy
Admetula was named by Cossmann (1889) [m. kosnik taxon no: 8248]. Its type is Buccinum evulsum.

It was synonymized subjectively with Admete (Bonellitia) by Olsson (1964).

It was assigned to Admetinae by Wilson (1994); and to Cancellariidae by Petit (1976), Jung and Petit (1990) and Landau et al. (2012).

Columella excavated with two strong descending folds and a third fold which forms the edge of the short but distinct anterior canal. Sculpture cancellate. Varices usually present at irregular intervals. Columcllarcallus not developed into a shield. No umbilicus.
