Taxonomy
Amaurellina caleocia was named by Vokes (1939) [m. kosnik taxon no: 10093]. Its type specimen is UCMP 33781 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 672, Parsons Peak, which is in a Ypresian marine sandstone in the Domengine Formation of California.
