Taxonomy
Kelliidae was named by Forbes and Hanley (1849) [m. kosnik taxon no: 5173]. It is extant.
It was synonymized subjectively with Lasaeidae by Parker (1982), Coan et al. (2000) and Bouchet et al. (2010).
It was assigned to Leptonacea by Newell (1965) and Dockery (1982); to Galeommatacea by Vokes (1980) and Beu et al. (1990); to Leptonoidea by Marquet (2005); and to Kellioidea by Nevesskaja (2009).
