Taxonomy
Lepetelloidea was named by Dall (1882) [m. kosnik taxon no: 7632]. It is extant. Its type is Lepetellidae.

It was assigned to Cocculiniformia by Beesley (1998) and Jeffery (2003); to Vetigastropoda by Bouchet et al. (2005); and to Lepetellida by Bouchet et al. (2017).
