It was recombined as Natica didyma by Philippi (1852); it was recombined as Neverita didyma by Yen (1936) and Jensen (1996); it was recombined as Glossaulax didyma by Majima (1989); it was recombined as Polinices didyma by Pilsbry and Vanatta (1908) and Wilson (2002).
