Taxonomy
Amaurellina (Euspirocrommium) clarki was named by Stewart (1927) [DISTRIBUTION: Early Eocene; California, Mexico.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Amaurellina clarki by Gardner and Bowles (1934); it was recombined as Pachycrommium clarki by Marincovich (1977) and Perrilliat et al. (2006).
