  • Amussiidae was named by Ridewood (1903) [HISTORY: Synonym of Propeamussiidae, based on misinterpretation of the pectinid genus Amusium.]. It is extant.

    It was synonymized subjectively with Propeamussiidae by Parker (1982) and Coan et al. (2000).
