Parahughmilleria was named by Kjellesvig-Waering (1961) [Sepkoski's age data: S Ldov-m D Emsi Sepkoski's reference number: 360,1066]. It is not extant.
It was assigned to Eurypterida by Kjellesvig-Waering (1961) and Sepkoski (2002); and to Adelophthalmidae by Dunlop et al. (2013) and Dunlop et al. (2020).
