Taxonomy
Australonema parva was named by Mawson et al. (2002). Its type specimen is AMF 118272. Its type locality is Bed 230 Section QU Left flank of Limestone Creek, Windellama, which is in a Lochkovian carbonate limestone in the Windellama Formation of Australia.
