Taxonomy
Denayella housei was named by Blodgett and Johnson (1992). Its type locality is USNM 10807. 3 miles N & W of Roberts Creek Ranch, Roberts Mountains, which is in an Eifelian marine packstone in the Denay Limestone Formation of Nevada.
