It was synonymized subjectively with Ogmorhinus by Trouessart (1898) and Palmer (1904); it was synonymized subjectively with Ogmorhinus by Trouessart (1904); it was synonymized subjectively with Lobodon by Adam (2005); it was misspelled as Stenorhynchus by Delete (2006); it was corrected as Stenorhynchus by Delete (2006).
