Sinornithoides youngi

Taxonomy
Sinornithoides youngi was named by Russell and Dong (1994). Its type specimen is IVPP V9612, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Huamuxiao, Ordos Basin, which is in a Valanginian/Albian eolian sandstone/mudstone in the Ejinhoro Formation of China. It was considered monophyletic by Currie (2000).
