Taxonomy
Felixigyra was named by Prever (1909) [Sepkoski's age data: J u K Ceno Sepkoski's reference number: 2,819]. It is not extant. Its type is Felixigyra deangelisi.

It was assigned to Stylinidae by Baron-Szabo (1997); to Scleractinia by Sepkoski (2002); and to Faviidae by Löser and Ferry (2006).
