Taxonomy
Hydnophoromeandraraea was named by Morycowa (1971) [Sepkoski's age data: K Vala K Apti-l Sepkoski's reference number: 658]. It is not extant. Its type is Hydnophoromeandraraea volzi.

It was assigned to Microsolenidae by Baron-Szabo (1997); and to Scleractinia by Sepkoski (2002).
