Taxonomy
Picnotreta robusta was named by Holmer et al. (1999) [Upper Middle to Upper Cambrian, Argentina and western Newfoundland; lower Upper Cambrian (Marjuman), western Canada]. Its type locality is LS 970, Los Sombreros section, western Argentina, which is in a St Davids slope packstone in the Los Sombreros Formation of Argentina.
