Taxonomy
Arionellus quadrangularis was named by Whitfield (1884) [Middle Cambrian, Massachusetts].

It was recombined as Agraulos quadrangularis by Walcott (1884); it was recombined as Skreiaspis quadrangularis by Fletcher (1972); it was recombined as Skehanos quadrangularis by Fletcher (2017).
