Taxonomy
Spheruprismatoolithus condensus was named by Bray (1999). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UCM 47627 and is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Mudbank Site 1.2, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial horizon in the North Horn Formation of Utah.
