Taxonomy
Ophileta subangulata was named by Tate (1892) [DISTRIBUTION: Cambrian; South Australia.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Pelagiella subangulata by Bengtson et al. (1990), Runnegar (1990), Parkhaev (2001), Skovsted (2004), Wotte (2006) and Wagner (2023).
