Saurexallopus lovei

Taxonomy
Exallopus lovei was named by Harris et al. (1996). Its type specimen is DMNH 5989 and is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Whetstone Creek tracksite, which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial sandstone in the Harebell Formation of Wyoming.

It was misspelled as Exallopus loveli by Llompart (2006); it was recombined as Saurexallopus lovei by Harris (1997), Lockley et al. (2003), Gierlinski and Lockley (2013), McCrea et al. (2014), McCrea et al. (2015) and Lockley et al. (2018).
