Polacanthus rudgwickensis
Taxonomy
Polacanthus rudgwickensis was named by Blows (1996). Its type specimen is HORSM 1988.1546 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rudgwick Brickworks Quarry, which is in a Barremian terrestrial marl/claystone in the Wessex Formation of the United Kingdom. It was considered monophyletic by Vickaryous et al. (2004).
