Pamiroseris was named by Melnikova (1971) [Sepkoski's age data: Tr Anis-l Tr Rhae Sepkoski's reference number: 674,919]. It is not extant. It is the type genus of Pamiroseriidae.
It was assigned to Pamiroseriidae by Roniewicz and Michalík (1998); and to Scleractinia by Sepkoski (2002).
