Goniopholis affinis
Taxonomy
Goniopholis affinis was named by Lull (1911). Its type specimen is MGS 8175, a set of teeth, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Branchville iron mine, which is in an Aptian fluvial-lacustrine claystone in the Arundel Clay Formation of Maryland.
