Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
J. B. Knight 1941Trochiform gastropods of moderate size without sinus, slit, or selenizone; whorl profile strongly rounded, very obscurely shouldered; sutures deep; base rounded, narrowly phaneromphalous; nucleus unknown; columellar lip thickened, its upper part reflexed about the umbilicus, and continuous with a somewhat thickened parietal inductura; outer lip slightly sinuous, proceeding with a slight backward obliquity from the upper suture for a short distance then rounding gently forward on the whorl face and again slightly backward on the base leaving a broadly convex margin on the outer whorl face; ornamentation fine lines of growth only; shell moderately thick, its structure unknown. The largest paratype must have measured about 14 mm. in height before breakage and 14 mm. in width, with a pleural angle of about 67 degrees.
