Spheroolithus albertensis

Taxonomy
Spheroolithus albertensis was named by Zelenitsky and Hills (1997). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is RTMP 94.157.63, an egg, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Devil's Coulee (general), which is in a Campanian terrestrial mudstone in the Oldman Formation of Canada.
