Ecteninion lunensis
Taxonomy
Ecteninion lunensis was named by Martinez et al. (1996). Its type specimen is PVSJ 422, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is southern Valle de la Luna, which is in a Carnian floodplain siliciclastic in the Ischigualasto Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Ecteninion.
