Taxonomy
Pachyophis woodwardi was named by Nopcsa (1923). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Selista, which is in a Cenomanian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is the type species of Pachyophis.
