Taxonomy
Pseudomyriophyllia was named by Morycowa (1971) [Sepkoski's age data: K Haut K Apti-l Sepkoski's reference number: 658,821]. It is not extant. Its type is Pseudomyriophyllia carpathica.

It was assigned to Faviidae by Baron-Szabo (1997); to Scleractinia by Sepkoski (2002); and to Eugyridae by Löser (2010).
