Dilophosaurus sinensis

Taxonomy
Dilophosaurus sinensis was named by Hu (1993). Its type specimen is KMV 8701, a skeleton, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Qinglongshan near Muchulang village, Dilophosaurus sinensis holotype, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial horizon in the Lufeng Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Sinosaurus triassicus by Xing et al. (2014) and Rauhut et al. (2016); it was recombined as Sinosaurus sinensis by Wang et al. (2017) and Zhang et al. (2023).
