Coelurosaurichnus sabinensis
Taxonomy
Coelurosaurichnus sabinensis was named by Gand et al. (1976). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is St Sg1, a footprint, and it is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Sainte-Sabine tracksite, which is in a Triassic terrestrial horizon in France.

G. Gand et al. 1976 | Petit trace de pied tridactyle de dépassant pas 10 cm de longueur, digitigrade, légèrement plus longue que large. Les orteils sont larges, boudines, munis de griffes peu développées—sauf pour le rayon 3—courtes et triangulaires, souvent cassées sur les doigts latéraux des contre-empreintes.
L'écart angulaire entre les doigts externes est grand: en moyenne égale à 90°. Le deuxieème orteil est légèrement plus court que le quatrième. Son extrémité distale atteint la jointure 1-2 de l'orteil 3, alors que celle du rayon 4 atteint la base de la partie proximale du coussinet 2 du 3. L'existence du coussinet digito-métatarsien 4 contribue à former un petit talon triangulaire. |
