Diacodexis indicus
Taxonomy
Gujaratia indica was named by Bajpai et al. (2005). Its type specimen is IITR/SB/VLM 511 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India.
It was recombined as Diacodexis indicus by Rana et al. (2008) and Kumar et al. (2010).
