Lophonema taneyensis

Taxonomy
Polhemia taneyensis was named by Cullison (1944). It is not extant. Its type locality is M. S. M. 105.4, west side of Mo. State Highway 76A at Rockaway Beach, which is in a Cassinian carbonate limestone/chert in the Theodosia Formation of Missouri. It is the type species of Polhemia.

It was recombined as Lophonema taneyensis by Morris and Cleevely (1981), Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2023).
