Raphistoma alaskensis

Taxonomy
Scalites alaskensis was named by Rohr et al. (1992). It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM 458258. Its type locality is USGS 10739-CO. Telsitna Ridge, northern Kuskokwim Mountains, which is in a Whiterockian carbonate limestone/limestone in the Telsitna Formation of Alaska.

It was recombined as Raphistoma alaskensis by Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2023).
