Ceratopea lenticularis

Taxonomy
Proliospira lenticularis was named by Flower (1968). Its type locality is Cooks Range, Mimbres Mountains, which is in a Demingian/Cassinian carbonate limestone/limestone in the Cooks Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Proliospira.

It was recombined as Ceratopea lenticularis by Yochelson and Copeland (1974) and Wagner (2023).
