Taxonomy
Orthonychia marblecreekensis was named by Talent and Philip (1956). It is not extant. Its type locality is Old Toongabbie Marble Quarry, Lower Quarry, Marble Creek, which is in a Siegen carbonate limestone in the Toongabble Limestone Formation of Australia.
