Taxonomy
Straparollus (Straparollus) minutus was named by Pan and Erwin (2002). Its type specimen is USNM 127638, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Matan M40, Heshan, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Heshan Formation of China.
It was recombined as Stuoraxis minutus by Nützel et al. (2002).
