Taxonomy
Meekospira solenisciforma was named by Nützel and Pan (2005) [Genus & species indeterminate D of Pan & Erwin 2002 p. 46 f. 23.7-23.9]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is USNM 127726. Its type locality is Matan M40, Heshan, which is in a Changhsingian carbonate limestone in the Heshan Formation of China.
