Hippocardia alborza
Taxonomy
Hippocardia alborza was named by Hoare and Aghababula (2001). Its type locality is 40 meter bed, Balast section, Alborz Mountaings, 10 km northwest of Damghan, which is in a Chadian carbonate limestone in the Mobarak Formation of Iran.
