Taxonomy
Trochonema wilsonae was named by Steele and Sinclair (1971). Its type locality is Exposures east of Smith Construction Company two miles west of Braeside., which is in a Blackriveran shallow subtidal limestone/shale in the Chaumont Formation of Canada.
