It was assigned to Languriidae by Lawrence and Newton (1995); and to Erotylidae by Bouchard et al. (2011), Lyubarsky et al. (2016), Lyubarsky and Perkovsky (2017), Lyubarsky and Perkovsky (2018), Cai et al. (2022) and Lyubarsky and Perkovsky (2023).
