Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
R. Allain 2002Tetanurine characterized by a very low skull, at least three times longer than high; parietals not visible in lateral view; a straight medial margin of the upper temporal fenestra; a well developed ventral process on the jugal ramus of the ectopterygoid; a deeply grooved posterior margin of the ectopterygoid ahead of the subtemporal fenestra; a double curvature of the anterodorsal margin of the maxillary nasal ramus; a postorbital ventral process with U-shaped cross section; the absence of a quadrate–quadratojugal fenestra; a large external mandibular fenestra; a mylohyoid foramen largely opened anteroventrally.
