Taxonomy
Tralia was named by Gray (1840) [Type species: Voluta pusilla Gmelin (=Bulimus ovulus Bruguiere)]. It is extant.

It was assigned to Auriculidae by Woodring (1928); and to Ellobiidae by Todd (2001).
