Behemotops katsuiei
Taxonomy
Behemotops katsuiei was named by Inuzuka (2000) [AMP = Ashoro Museum of Paleontology]. Its type specimen is AMP22, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Morawan (Upper tuffaceous Siltstone Member), which is in a Chattian basinal (siliceous) siltstone in the Morawan Formation of Japan.
