Tendaguria tanzaniensis
Taxonomy
Tendaguria tanzaniensis was named by Bonaparte et al. (2000). Its type specimen is MB.R.2092.1, MB.R.2092.2, a set of vertebrae (2 anterior dorsal vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tendaguru quarry NB, which is in a Tithonian estuary/bay marl in the Tendaguru Formation of Tanzania.
