Paraphaenogaster shanwangensis

Taxonomy
Paraphaenogaster shanwangensis was named by Hong (1984). Its type specimen is Beijing Museum of Natural History 79047, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Shanwang, Linqu County, collection 79/80 (Beijing Museum), which is in a Burdigalian lacustrine - large mudstone in the Shanwang Formation of China.

It was recombined as Aphaenogaster (Sinaphaenogaster) shanwangensis by Zhang (1989); it was recombined as Aphaenogaster shanwangensis by Bolton (2012).
