Bromsgroveia walkeri
Taxonomy
Bromsgroveia walkeri was named by Galton (1985). Its type specimen is WM G3a, b and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coten End Quarry, which is in an Anisian channel sandstone/marl in the Bromsgrove Sandstone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Bromsgroveia.

Galton 2012 | Ctenosauriscid with four sacral ribs: the iliac attachment area for rib 1 extends to the end of the anterior process and superiorly to reach the dorsal edge, as do ribs 2 and 3, whereas rib 4 attaches only to the medially facing dorsal edge of the posterior process, the shallow C-shaped end of which is subhorizontal with the outer surface facing dorsally and slightly laterally. |
