Odobenus mandanoensis
Taxonomy
Odobenus mandanoensis was named by Tomida (1989) [National Science Museum (Japan)]. Its type specimen is NSM-PV 18911, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mandano, which is in a Pleistocene marginal marine sandstone in the Mandano Formation of Japan.
