Palaeosaurus subcylindrodon
Taxonomy
Zanclodon subcylindrodon was named by Huene (1905). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Feuerbacher Heide, which is in a Carnian channel sandstone/sandstone in the Stuttgart Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Thecodontosaurus subcylindrodon by Huene (1908), Huene (1914) and Schmidt (1938); it was recombined as Palaeosaurus subcylindrodon by Kuhn (1939); it was recombined as Palaeosauriscus subcylindrodon by Steel (1970); it was considered a nomen vanum by Kuhn (1971).
