Taxonomy
Bellerophon cresswelli was named by Etheridge (1891). It is not extant. Its type locality is Cave-hill Quarries, Lilydale [Lilydale Lmst], which is in a Pragian marine limestone in the Lilydale Limestone Formation of Australia.
