Bellerophon singularis
Taxonomy
Bellerophon singularis was named by Moore (1941). It is not extant. Its type locality is US Highway 40, 9.4 miles west of Lawrence, 3 miles south of Lecompton, which is in a Virgilian carbonate limestone in the Deer Creek Formation of Kansas.
It was recombined as Bellerophon (Bellerophon) singularis by Hoare et al. (1997).
