Bigalea yangi
Taxonomy
Bigalea yangi was named by Pojeta and Runnegar (1976). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Mud Lake Quarry, 1.5 miles north of Bay View, which is in a Givetian carbonate limestone in the Petoskey Limestone Formation of Michigan. It is the type species of Bigalea.
